The Role:
Our Geomatic Survey Team in Engineering Services is looking for a Geomatic Survey Technician to join the expanding team. Engineering Services sits within our Economy, Transport and Environment Department. We are a forward-thinking in-house consultancy providing a range of services to the County Council and other authorities. This includes geomatic surveys, Geotech consultancy, engineering design, laboratory testing, site supervision and project/contract management from early stages of a project through to construction.
As a Geomatic Survey Technician you will be part of the Geomatic Survey Team who provide geomatic survey support and solutions for the County Council and other authority engineers and architects. You will assist our Land Surveyors in the delivery of a comprehensive range of survey services using the latest survey equipment, methods, and technology.
It is expected that you will have experience in working in a Land Survey or Civil Engineering environment and have a relevant qualification. There will be an opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills with day release college or university training in an appropriate academic course.
