Job Overview
The Eye Awareness Campaigner plays a vital role in promoting eye health and awareness within the community. This position involves developing and implementing campaigns that educate the public about eye care, prevention of eye diseases, and the importance of regular eye examinations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and leadership skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively across various platforms.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute eye health awareness campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
2. Conduct research to analyse community needs and identify effective messaging strategies.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and organisations to promote eye care initiatives direct to the community in locations inside Wakefield town using a pop-up stall.
4. Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
5. Organise events and workshops aimed at educating the public about eye health.
6. Lead a team or work with a team of colleagues in campaign activities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
7. Monitor campaign performance using Excel and other analytical tools to assess impact.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in project management with a focus on health awareness or similar campaigns.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
3. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively convey messages to diverse audiences.
4. Proficiency in using Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
6. A passion for promoting health awareness, particularly related to eye care, is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
