Purpose of role
As the Content Creator you will be part of a global creative team based at the Onshore Delivery Centre in Leeds, supporting our client - a leading global law firm based in London. The team will be responsible for delivering exceptional design content including; Motion Graphics, Web development, Audio, Photography, Video, creative PowerPoint as well as contributing to strategic campaigns.
You must have an understanding and passion for taking content and representing this in an impactful and engaging way across appropriate print and digital communication channels. The key to the role is the delivery of innovative and creative content execution across media with a consistent look and feel. The work is very fast moving and often requires the application of judgement. You will be required to interpret numerous client instructions and translate those requirements into ‘branded’ concepts and final designs, which work in both the digital and print spaces.
Key responsibilities
* Create content, proof, edit, build and produce articles for a number of areas within our client’s business, including: relevant and easy to consume content for events, conference collateral, roadshows, internal promotions and initiatives.
* Tailor the output to audience types and communication mediums, including social, web, and email.
* Originate articles as well as edit long-form pieces into engaging short-form content for use on Intranet, in print and, including promo copy and takeaways.
* Support the Global Creative Director, Studio Manager and Design Lead on pipeline planning and communication with key stakeholders including distribution teams, marketing, and stakeholders.
* Support the business to manage and deliver Client work, right first time, on time.
* Interpret and challenge the brief requirements, offering the best solution for clients.
* Take responsibility for escalating or resolving, as appropriate, any client issues, regularly communicating updates to the Studio Manager.
* Use the workflow software and adapt to any existing procedures within the team.
* Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Quality checking and accuracy.
Personal attributes
* Digital publishing mindset. Expertise in strategy, implementation, and execution. Suits someone with a journalism or investment marketing background.
* Copywriting and investment writing experience, with strong editorial skills, especially for a digital format.
* Understanding of global cultural aesthetics.
* Educated to degree level, with English, journalism, communications or similar relevant degree preferable.
* Strong planning and implementation skills with a focus on deadlines.
* Resourcefulness and enthusiasm, with the ability to generate ideas, identify efficiency opportunities and collaborate very well with colleagues across the business.
* Can handle and manage working on multiple projects with multiple stakeholders at the same time.
* Creative and innovative, able to think outside the box to develop engaging and original content.
* Can quickly adjust to new trends, platforms, and content strategies.
