Community Support Worker
Salary: £26,460 per annum + Benefits - Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews
Based at: Wolverhampton Activity HUB – Multi-site travel required on occasion
If successful, you will be responsible for supporting an active caseload of participants; addressing engagement barriers and progressing toward successful outcomes.
What you will be doing:
* Engaging with participants & developing trust-based, positive relationships to provide an appropriate level of ongoing support for an active caseload.
* Signposting individuals to relevant activities, partner agencies & Peer Mentors.
* Supporting individuals with accessing activities and opportunities through effective coaching & mentoring.
To be successful you will require:
* Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example, people who have complex needs.
* Case Management experience (i.e., dealing with multiple people, managing their expectations).
* The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe.
