You must have an excellent telephone manner and communication skills within this busy unit which will involve answering and re-directing calls to many of our areas.Candidates must possess keyboard skills, be able to input and retrieve data from the computer and have attention to detail and documentation. You must be approachable and flexible to met the needs of the service. Accurately record on Patient Centre/PAS all related data. Update and revision of information.Responsible for dealing with patient enquiries including using initiative to appropriately handle sensitive issues, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.Assist with maintenance of office stationery, including photocopying and filing as required and restocking the wards documents and weekly/ daily suppliesExcellent ICT skills as part of this role as you will be expected to transfer and discharge patients on the computer system and forward information on to different areas within the trust .Liaise with other professionals regarding clients and their information within the trust, as well as GP clinics and other departments.
