We are currently working with a number of schools within the Torpoint area who are seeking teaching support on both a short-term and long-term basis with cover ranging from EYFS – KS2.
If you are seeking a short-term role, we do offer flexible working patterns which fit around you with an online diary allowing you to update your availability and keep on top of your schedule.
With regards to longer-term positions, these range from 1– 5 days a week depending on the role the school is looking for support with. Responsibilities within these roles will also depend on the schools’ requirements, though these will always be discussed and confirmed before you begin as well as your pay being reviewed to reflect these.
It is important that you are confident going into new classes and have strong behaviour management skills to ensure a successful day for both you and the students. Good communication skills are also very important within this role as you will be going into new schools and being required to communicate with different Teaching Assistants, Head Teachers, SENCO’s, Parents/ Carers etc.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
