Geologist to be based in either west London or Aberdeen (candidate's choice) until 31/07/2025 within the RSS team. The Reservoir Studies & Simulation (RSS) team is responsible for the delivery of quality subsurface studies in support of the asset work programmes.
This is a high-paced role that requires the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously. The incumbent will be expected to juggle several projects, often with tight deadlines. Flexibility and the ability to switch between tasks at short notice are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Play a critical role in the timely delivery of the subsurface concept, incremental production potential, and risk definition for each target that is progressed through the target maturation process.
* Interrogate and, if needed, construct/update geological models (in Petrel) which will inform the target maturation process.
* Using the asset models, investigate the impact of geological uncertainty on incremental volumes and subsurface risk attributed to the targets.
