You will communicate regularly with project management, ensuring that you provide progress reports. In addition to this, you will identify issues and snags that are disrupting the commissioning works. For this role, you will need to liaise with subcontractors and clients, ensuring that the correct execution of design is achieved.
As a commissioning engineer, you will at times be required to work independently and as a team. It would be seen as an advantage to have knowledge of certain non-proprietary protocols such as Modbus, mBus, and BACnet.
