Bradford Producing Hub, in partnership with Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture, The British Council and the Bridges Producers Fellowship programme in Kenya, are excited to launch an international Bradford – Nairobi Producer Exchange.
This fully funded opportunity will support one producer from Bradford to participate in a hybrid training programme which includes 2x one-week residencies split between Nairobi, Kenya, and Bradford, England.

This opportunity is open to Bradford producers from the African Diaspora whose work centres around live arts, performance, or arts and culture events.
Applicants must:
* Be 18 years or over
* Be from the African Diaspora
* Live in Bradford or have a strong connection to the district
* Work in live arts, including but not limited to:
o Music and sound design for live performance
o Theatre, dance, live arts, festivals (including film), and immersive experiences
o Visual arts (with a focus on live or performative elements)
o Arts and culture event or festival producing
o Community arts producing with a focus on live experiences
* Be actively developing an event, performance, or project in 2025 that they can apply their learning to
What’s Included?
* A placement fee of £1000 (£500 per exchange week)
* Travel, accommodation, and expenses budget for both exchange weeks
* Additional funding to attend arts and culture events while on the exchanges
* Participation in the online Bridges Producers Fellowship Programme alongside Nairobi-based producers
* Skills-based training sessions covering marketing, touring, fundraising, artistic programming, and more
* Mentorship from an industry professional aligned with your field
* Networking opportunities with producers and artists in Nairobi and Bradford
