Job Overview: As a Sales Representative for O'Neills Sportswear, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our sportswear products, to existing and new customers.
You will develop strong relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and deliver top-tier service to ensure customers' needs are met.
The role involves regular travel within your assigned territory and may require you to attend events and trade shows.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Actively pursue new business opportunities with a focus on growing customer accounts within the assigned territory.
Promote O'Neills' range of sportswear, including custom kits, apparel, and accessories.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and customer needs.
Manage and grow a portfolio of clients by offering solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients such as sports clubs, and other sports-related organisations.
Provide product knowledge and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Regularly check in with clients to ensure repeat business and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Product Presentation & Promotion: Organise product demonstrations, presentations, and fittings for clients.
Attend trade shows, sports events, and networking events to showcase O'Neills products when required.
Sales Administration: Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative tasks related to the sales process.
Track and manage orders, inventory levels, and deliveries with accuracy.
Ensure all orders are sent for processing as set out by NI Sales Manager.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales admin team and design teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and new product launches.
Participate in team meetings to share customer feedback and insights to help improve products and services.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the sportswear or apparel industry.
Strong knowledge of sportswear products and an understanding of the sports market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of managing a busy schedule.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the designated region.
