This role will provide administrative support to and undertake some case handling tasks for case handlers who provide quality legal advice to the firms clients and progress cases in the most efficient manner. To build a rapport with and provide an excellent level of customer service to the Groups clients and become an integral part of case management team. What will your day look like? Manage the client journey and experience beginning with client enquiries and other enquiries (by phone, letter and email). Organise meetings with clients and conferences with Counsel and experts (liaising with Counsels clerk and experts secretaries to obtain availability). Drafting letters confirming details, booking rooms, lunches, car parking and travel. Compose letters on case handlers request. Respond independently to correspondence including chase up letters, acknowledgment letters, appointment letters, etc. Ensure appropriate enclosures are attached to letters, Instructions to Counsel etc. Ensuring all relevant tasks on Legis are run and that all team files are in good order and in accordance with agreed practice. Ensure urgent typing support is provided to case handlers where required. Deal with relevant administration duties including photocopying, scanning documents, amending documentation, archiving; filing; file maintenance and opening files. Process incoming post and ensuring outgoing post is dealt with efficiently. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Good communication skills Work on own initiative Knowledge of Quality procedures Secretarial experience Previous legal experience Office experience in professional services Knowledge and understanding of case management system. Time management and organisation Accuracy and attention to detail Carry out any other duties which may from time-to-time be reasonably required of the post holder by any Partner or Senior Member of the firm.
