My client is a large FMCG business based in Manchester. Due to the current incumbent leaving the business, they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their vibrant and expanding finance function. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the entire process for particular business units within the organisation. This will include:
1. Processing high volumes of invoices onto the system, many of which are automated, ensuring accuracy.
2. Leading on query resolution with suppliers while offering excellent levels of customer service.
3. Processing payments and reconciling supplier statements.
4. Participating in project work alongside your day-to-day responsibilities to enhance your experience and CV.
This role will suit a candidate who has experience in an accounts payable role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The salary on offer is up to GBP27,500 depending on experience, along with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working and a generous holiday entitlement, as well as fantastic opportunities for development and progression.
