Procurement Heads Industrial team is excited to be working with an exceptional electronics technology business with three UK and one international site. They are looking to recruit a Group Head of Procurement & Supply Chain Manager.
This is a newly created role as part of this organisation's ongoing evolution and continual improvement. This role will be key in bringing together the procurement functions of multiple sites, ensuring procurement best practice, and implementing effective pricing agreements, enhanced supplier relationships, and risk reduction strategies.
Hybrid working with three days a week on-site in their head offices conveniently located between Portsmouth and Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement group-wide procurement strategies for cost-effective procurement.
* Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and quality standards.
* Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
* Conduct market analysis to identify new procurement opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
* Collaborate with logistics partners for timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.
* Perform cost-benefit analyses for strategic sourcing decisions.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
* Conduct supplier performance assessments and audits. Develop supplier development programmes.
* Manage supplier negotiations, contracts, renewals, and terminations.
* Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulatory standards.
* Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
* Monitor market conditions and geopolitical risks.
* Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics.
* Provide regular reports to senior management with insights and recommendations.
* Analyse historical data to improve future procurement strategies.
* Drive the adoption of procurement and supply chain technologies.
* Integrate sustainable procurement practices.
Key Skills & Experience Required for the Role:
* Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management for a multi-site setup.
* Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
* Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
* Leadership experience with a global team.
* Knowledge of international trade laws and regulatory standards.
* Proficiency in procurement and supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP systems).
* Commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Benefits:
