What you can add:
· Collaborate with senior pharmacy and medical staff, the multidisciplinary team, and management representatives to achieve shared objectives aimed at enhancing pharmacy services for cancer patients.
· Provide clinical pharmacy support during consultant ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, prescribing meetings, and other areas as agreed with the Principal Pharmacist for Cancer Services.
· Serve as a prescribing pharmacist for cancer patients under the supervision of the Lead Cancer Clinicians and Principal Pharmacist for Cancer Services.
· Ensure the safe, clinically effective, and cost-efficient use of medications in compliance with Trust policies, standard operating procedures, and relevant medicines legislation.
What you’ll need:
* A Pharmacy degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s)
* Registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Postgraduate Clinical Diploma and/or equivalent clinical experience
* Completed Aseptic Preparation and Dispensing course
* Extensive, proven clinical hospital experience
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
* Experience in at least one of the following areas: Oncology, Haematology, or Aseptic Services
