Job summary Ward 2 Wansbeck General Hospital is a subacute step down ward specialising in joint gastroenterology and Respiratory medicine, treating both male and female adult patients with acute medical conditions. Our staff nurses provide a high quality service in a safe environment where the needs to each patient are cared for in a professional and holistic manner by using all available specialist knowledge and skills. The wellbeing of all our patients relies on appropriate and timely assessment, investigation, treatment and care. Our ward can be a busy and challenging environment. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a dynamic nursing team delivering all aspects of care to the patients. You will have the opportunity to develop in this specialised field as well as continuing development as a Band 5.
