In a nutshell We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and proactive Studio Manager to join our team as we continue to grow. You’ll report to the Creative Director, and will work alongside our team of designers, animators and strategists across London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. Our HQ is in London, and you’ll need to be able to make it in at least 3 days a week – it is essential for you to build your internal profile to be known as the go-to person. Your skills & experience You have solid experience in dealing with a studio like ours in a client-facing capacity. You’re firm but fair and are able to work seamlessly with our team of animators, motion designers, graphic designers, directors, and copywriters. Your organisation and time-management skills are second to none and you work well under pressure. You are optimistic and have a positive attitude. You are a great listener and engage in discussions, contributing smart ideas and your views on proposals. You are not just a creative thinker but a resilient problem solver who engages with the world at large, understanding our role in between clients and consumers. You will ideally possess advanced PowerPoint skills or have a willingness to develop these skills quickly. The role involves creating high-quality presentations and visual content that align with brand guidelines, with the ability to step in as needed to support the team in delivering polished, professional presentations to clients. The role Key responsibilities include… Creative Process Oversight Developing and maintaining the studio’s internal brand identity - Implementing internal branding guidelines to ensure all team members are aligned Collaborating with the marketing team - creating and managing content for marketing campaigns, including social media, newsletters, and website updates. Presenting successful project case studies that showcase the studio’s work and achievements engagingly - gathering details, client testimonials and visuals Project and Resource Management: Helping to develop and drive internal projects by managing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation adhering to our traffic light system to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Lead and manage the flow of creative projects, from social media content and press ads to full campaigns and videos. Oversee and manage the daily schedule of the Creative team, ensuring optimal resource allocation for ongoing projects and pitches. Implement processes and tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Ensure project-related invoices and expenses are processed promptly. Manage resources, including staff and equipment, to optimize the studio’s capacity and capabilities. Support the team on key accounts, including managing the fee tracker and Salesforce activities. Address any issues or conflicts during projects, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction. Communicate upcoming project timelines and requirements to the Resourcing Manager for effective planning and scheduling of both in-house staff and freelancers. Manage suppliers and partners, including negotiating rates and rebates. Team management: Maintaining a broad overview of every project and multiple deliverables while keeping an eye on skill levels. Identifying skill gaps and flagging these with the Resourcing Manager. Monitor skill sets and experience levels, identify skill gaps, and liaise with the Resourcing Manager when additional support or adjustments are needed. Overseeing freelance talent management, including onboarding, assigning projects, tracking performance, and ensuring timely submission of deliverables. Liaise with freelancers on availability and contract extensions as needed, while coordinating with internal teams to meet project requirements Client and Internal Management Conduct regular meetings with the team and project leads from other departments to ensure Creative is prioritized in all incoming briefs. Share any brief with a Creative component with the Creative team for accurate costing in proposals, preventing last-minute surprises after projects are won. Sit in on key meetings, such as project kick-offs, status updates, and client calls to stay informed about project details, changes and expectations, ensuring this is fed back to the team so everybody knows what they’re doing.
