As a Safety Controller (Safe Systems of Work Controller) at Sellafield Ltd you play a key role in supporting the safe efficient operation of nuclear facilities. Working with the operations teams and stakeholders you will coordinate the work release on behalf of the authorising authority based upon its degree of complexity and risk/categorisation. Key challenges include centrally controlling and maintaining oversight of work activities within the facility, building or plant area, releasing work in line with the integrated schedule and safety requirements.,

3 GCSEs Grade C/4 or above (including English, Maths & Science) or equivalents.
* Demonstrable experience in/or supporting operations in industries such as transport, production, manufacturing, logistics and acting as a decision maker where appropriate.
* Demonstrable understanding of Operations, Maintenance or Project deliverables.
* Demonstrable experience of acting as a role model and coach/mentors team members within and outside your own team.
