Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, focused and energetic Events Project Manager, with a passion for live events and horticultural design to join our rapidly expanding Business Development team. You will work to help create original concepts and provide stunning event plant displays and Christmas.
Objectives & Responsibilities:
* Responding to client briefs and inbound enquiries.
* Creating opportunities and building your own network of contacts.
* Regular in-person client site visits and meetings.
* Preparing quotations for planting hire, working with our graphics team and designers in creating proposals and costings for bespoke event displays.
* Ensuring that we create concise proposals and presentations to share with clients. with the support of the in-house team.
* Project managing bespoke events from concept through to completion.
* Working to Plant Designs core values and contributing to achieve quarterly sales targets and KPI’s.
* Working with our in-house Design, Operations, Production and Horticultural teams to ensure we are delivering a quality service.
* Working with the Accounting department to ensure client orders are managed efficiently.
* Gain an in-depth product knowledge and be able to speak with confidence of all Plant Designs services to different clienteles.
* Connecting other areas of the business with potential sales leads and cross selling our range of services.
Candidate skills and experience:
* 5+ years of sales experience including creating opportunities.
* Experience with the event industry and onsite production work.
* Experience in project management/client facing role.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, time management and organisational skills.
* A quick learner with the initiative to work both independently and in a team.
* Personable and professional.
* Proficiency with sales management software and CRM.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, namely PowerPoint and Excel.
* Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
* Strong ability to create opportunities and manage own time/tasks.
* Although not essential, experience with plants and greenery is preferrable.
* Ability to work under the pressure in a target driven culture with the rewards that stem from that.

This is a full-time role based between our Farringdon office/showroom, Greenford production studio and onsite at various client sites and event venues.
Salary with commission will be OTE £55,000-60,000 per annum, basic salary will depend on experience.
