The Opportunity:
This role sits within a dynamic Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) team that performs some of the most advanced missile testing outside of live firings. The team designs complex, real-time simulations that integrate real missile hardware — effectively allowing for controlled “indoor firings.”
As an HWIL RF Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining both new and existing RF equipment. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to blend RF systems, electronics, and software into fully integrated, real-time simulations. This is a hands-on engineering role that requires adaptability and a high-level understanding of both abstract system behaviours and detailed hardware components.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) design and testing
* Strong system performance analysis skills
* Proficiency in interface debugging and system integration
* Understanding of hardware/software design requirements
* Knowledge of system design for real-time applications
* Familiarity with Linux operating systems
* A background in computer science (C++ is a plus)
* Experience with integrating microcontrollers into RF hardware (e.g., Raspberry Pi)
