Job Description:
Your new company
Your new company is a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy specialising in the built environment. They have over 350 employees nationally across 13 offices and award-winning teams in civil and structural engineering, transport planning, environmental engineering, and geotechnics.
Due to the fantastic relationships with Tier 1 developers and contractors nationally, your new company has an established and varied client base across all sectors.
Your new role
Your new role will see you joining the company as a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer within a technical civils team consisting of Directors, Chartered Principles, other Seniors, and Graduates. You will be responsible for the technical design and delivery of a variety of drainage, highways, and building infrastructure projects across a wide range of sectors.
These projects include high-rise residential estates, major hospitals, urban area master planning, university campuses, 300,000 sqft+ industrial warehouses, solar farms, sustainable power plants, and much more!
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will need a minimum of a BEng in Civil Engineering and around 7 years of relevant UK experience. Chartership is not a requirement for this role; however, it is highly desirable that you are on the pathway to being professionally qualified with a relevant board, such as the Institute of Civil Engineers.
Strong design software experience with AutoCAD, Microdrainage/Flow, and Civil3D/PDS is needed, as well as a working knowledge of S278/38/104 agreements. An ability to produce Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports is also highly desirable.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive annual salary between £45,000 - £55,000 depending on your level of industry experience. Your new company is also employee-owned, which means that annual profit sharing in the form of bonuses is on offer, with the amount depending on financial success. They have an impeccable track record of delivering profits in all but one financial year of their extensive history!
Your new company also owns four 5* holiday lodges in the UK, with each member of staff entitled to a week's holiday free of charge. A modern and flexible hybrid working policy is in place, allowing staff to work from home twice a week and work flexibly depending on personal commitments. There is also a 7% pension contribution made by your employer, based on a 3% salary contribution.
Training and development support to help you be the best you can be is provided by your new consultancy, which has been awarded the “Excellence in L&D” award by Construction News and “Innovative Training Provider” by the ACE.
