Robert Half are pleased to be recruiting a Group Reporting Manager on a permanent basis with a high growth business based in Swindon. This is a pivotal role supporting the Finance Director and leadership team, and would suit an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE seeking a value add role.
The role
The Group Reporting Manager will be responsible for a range of duties encompassing financial reporting, group consolidations, budgeting and business partnering. This role requires a technically astute individual with previous experience of financial reporting, and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Preparing monthly consolidated group accounts to be presented at board level.
2. Forecasting and budgeting for the group - including partnering with the management team to understand key costs and drivers.
3. Point of contact for the external auditors including query resolution.
4. Financial analysis.
5. Preparing management information packs with commentary.
6. Balance sheet reconciliations.
7. Continuous improvement of systems and processes.
8. Business partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
Profile
The Group Reporting Manager role would suit someone with 4+ years PQE, preferably with experience of working in a medium to large sized organisation with strong technical accounting knowledge. Key skills/attributes to include:
9. Excellent interpersonal skills and business partnering capabilities.
10. Experience of consolidating group accounts and statutory reporting.
11. ACA/ACCA qualified with 4+ years PQE.
12. Experience of working in a high growth/PE backed business is an advantage.
13. Intermediate to advanced excel with strong systems knowledge.
Package
14. £65-75k base salary + bonus.
15. Hybrid working (3 days onsite).
