What will you do?
In this role you will develop and focus on Martin Material Handling Equipment sales of screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, conveyor idlers and pulleys. Additionally, Martin power transmission products.
Key responsibilities:
* Responsible for Material Handling Sales with Key Accounts, OEM and EPC customers.
* Work to gain Martin Material Handling product specification at Strategic Accounts.
* Collaborates and engages with Martin Field Sales, Marketing, and regional operations to create awareness of Strategic Accounts preferred OEMs.
* Drive Material Handling CAPEX opportunities with strategic accounts / direct sales.
* Engages with Martin Product Management regarding product / application growth opportunities.
* Work with OEM / EPC to drive "First Fit" specification opportunities, thus seeding the aftermarket with MSG products.
* Develop opportunities for new products with OEM / EPC customers.
* Engage in industry discussions, product training and sales presentations, internal, regional and national events.
* As a member of the Martin Material Handling Specialist Team, present ideas and suggestions for the formulation of the company's strategic account strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
* 5 plus years of technical sales experience in the industrial marketplace.
* Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar, or Business Degree with mechanical aptitude.
* Must be detail-oriented.
* Passionate and committed to the excellence of Martin's customer service.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (bilingualism French/English an asset).
* Self-management with the drive to succeed and achieve goals.
* Independent ability to evaluate situations, solve problems, and make decisions.
* Recognition and ability to effect change and contribute to the organization's goals.
* Travel is a must to support the Canadian marketplace.
