Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: Oldham
Salary: Circa £50k - £60k
A local Metal Fabrication company are now looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team.
Continuous Improvement Manager - Job Role:
1. Create, implement and drive lean manufacturing initiatives onsite.
2. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
3. Train and mentor staff on lean manufacturing principles.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve operational issues.
5. Work closely with management to define and achieve strategic objectives.
6. Lead projects to reduce waste and improve quality.
7. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
8. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to lean manufacturing principles.
Continuous Improvement Manager - Person Requirements:
The ideal candidate MUST come from the Manufacturing Industry as a Continuous Improvement Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience:
1. Hold a recognised engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng.
2. Experience in implementing and improving lean principles in a manufacturing site.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
4. Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and train staff.
5. Can work under pressure and is keen to learn and is proactive.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
