To support the Head of Medicines Governance and Safety in implementation of the medicine's transformation workplan. To support LSC ICB MO Place Heads of Medicines Optimisation and the Transformation Pharmacist in the formulation, interpretation and implementation of the ICS transformation, change management plans and strategies. Support the development of service design/re-design that are sensitive to user needs, but flexible and responsive to changing requirements. To act as the technical and operational lead across LSC ICB MO for digital systems in use in GP practices including but not limited to Optimise Rx and Eclipse. To act as a point of liaison with LSCMMG to support effective implementation of formulary and guidance through use of digital tools and effective communication to the system. Main duties of the job The role will be varied and will adapt over time as the ICB develops. However, the postholder is expected to fulfil the following key functions: participate in the formulation, interpretation and implementation of the ICS transformation, change management plans and strategies. In liaison with other members of the medicine's optimisation function, support the Transformation Pharmacist in the development of strategies for individual services, or localities that respond to service needs and support excellent service delivery and development. In liaison with other members of the Medicines optimisation function, support the Transformation Pharmacist in the development of policies and strategies for implementation of the ICS transformation programme to improve the environment for patients, staff and other stakeholders. Work with stakeholders to help find solutions to facilitate service developments through production of briefs and feasibility studies, and by undertaking site searches and surveys. Support service design/re-designs that are sensitive to user needs, but flexible and responsive to changing requirements. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Services sufficient for registration with the GPhC. Desirable Leadership/management/project management qualification/course/equivalent experience. Quality improvement qualification or demonstrable training/ equivalent experience. Evidence of ongoing education/training. Experience Essential Significant post qualification experience commensurate to the role Experience working as a qualified Pharmacy Technician. Experience in developing well-presented reports appropriate for the audience.
