About the Role:
The company are seeking a detail-oriented Stores and Assets Coordinator to oversee and manage the company’s assets and stock. You will be responsible for ensuring the Stores and assets are controlled and maintained to a high standard, including stock control, tracking assets throughout their lifecycle, maintaining accurate records, coordinating asset disposal and managing goods in/out
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Main Duties:
• Keeping goods in the workshop area organised and clean
• Unloading goods
• Receiving and checking inward goods against orders
• Identifying inward goods and storing in the correct location
• Receiving inward goods on ERP system
• Ensure quality documentation is present and matches the goods delivered
• Carry out dimensional inspections on laser cut, folded and raw material deliveries
• Monitoring standard parts and consumables to ensure that minimum stock levels are maintained
• Identifying and registering assets or equipment on receipt
• Keeping all assets and equipment calibrated
• Controlling assets and equipment going offsite
• Inspect assets and equipment when returning from site
• Ensure that daily inspections are completed on the forklift truck
• Ensure the forklift truck is serviced and inspected at recommended intervals
• Ensure weekly inspections are completed on all company vehicles
• Ensure company vehicles are serviced and inspected at recommended intervals
• Ensure lifting and access equipment is inspected according to recommended intervals
• Organise stores for all consumables, standard parts, and equipment (including ordering of these parts)
• Ensure recyclable goods are disposed of correctly
• Organise collection of recyclable goods when required
• Store environmental paperwork when received
• Liaise with project owner to organise the return of parts to suppliers for credit upon job completion
• Ensure all goods hazardous to health or environment are stored correctly
• Implement on going improvements within the production facility under management guidance
• Quarantine all unsafe or uncalibrated equipment
• Organise the repair or disposal of unsafe equipment
• Comply to company Quality process at all time
• Comply to company HSE process at all time
• Delivery / collection of goods to / from customer & supplier sites when and where required
• Implement on going quality and process improvements within the operation/QHSE facility under management guidance
• Supporting in all areas of work where appropriate
