Quality Engineer – Fife Based
Due to growth in our Major Projects business we have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to based on our client site full time to provide support services as required by the Site Manager/Project Manager/Quality Manager/Proposal Lead in the provision of technical quality information.
We’re actively looking for diligent and dedicated Quality Engineers for a duration of 6 months to oversee Quality Control and Assurance for our client. Your work will be executed under the supervision of the Project Quality Lead, ensuring consistent collaboration and outcomes across the quality team.

What will you being doing?
As our new Quality Engineer, you will receive specific technical instructions and operate in accordance with Business Operating Procedures (BOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), client procedures, relevant international codes and standards.
You’ll aspire to deliver the best for your team and for our client’s whatever challenges you face, tasked with performing quality control and quality assurance tasks, preparing standard documents and assisting in contributing to projects, as appropriate.

So what do you need to be considered?
Backed by an academic, or vocational qualification i.e. ONC/HNC/HND (preferably in a related subject) or equivalent, significant and related professional experience plus accredited training qualifying towards registration (e.g. Practitioner Member of a recognised professional institution e.g. CQI) Minimum requirements are CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspection or equivalent and PCN level 2 Radiographic Interpretation or equivalent. It is preferable but not essential for coating inspection experience and certification.
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar role, ideally within a busy and precise project environment - pipework fabrication and installation experience is essential. You will have the ability to identify any non-conformance and assist in solving problems using your developed knowledge of quality processes and procedures.
