A prestigious high-end residential interior design studio is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of construction, refurbishment, and FF&E/decoration projects, working closely with the design and architectural teams, clients, and external consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the day-to-day delivery of luxury residential construction, refurbishment, and FF&E/decoration projects
* Coordinate in-house design and architectural teams to ensure efficient project delivery
* Take a lead role in team resourcing to meet project deadlines and milestones
* Manage the entire tendering process, from issuing tenders to appointing consultants and the project supply chain
* Build and maintain successful relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and sub-contractors with minimal supervision
* Ensure successful acquisition of all necessary statutory approvals
* Lead contract administration and provide monthly client reporting
* Monitor and deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining a high standard of quality
Requirements:
* ARB or RICS Accredited degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying (preferable)
* A minimum of 4 years’ experience delivering luxury interior design projects with construction values ranging from £500k to £10m. International project experience is an added advantage
* Proven experience managing at least two projects in London through all RIBA stages, acting as the sole Project Manager responsible for successful delivery
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage relationships with clients, consultants, and team members
* Demonstrated ability to manage the full project lifecycle, from tendering to delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
* The right to live and work in the UK - this studio cannot sponsor overseas candidates
