Fundraising Manager – NHS Charity (Band 7) Torbay and South Devon (Hybrid) £16.97 per hour (rising to £23.60 after 12 weeks) Full-time or 4 days/week | Temporary (up to 3 months) | Start: 28/04/2025 We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Fundraising Manager to support the Torbay and South Devon NHS Charity during a period of transition. This is a key role, offering the opportunity to lead meaningful fundraising activity while covering for a substantive post. You'll join a small, driven team making a big difference—supporting projects that enhance patient care, staff wellbeing, and community health across the region. Key Details: Start date: Ideally Monday 28th April 2025 for handover period Contract: Temporary, up to 3 months (until permanent hire starts) Pay: £16.97/hr, rising to £23.60/hr after 12 weeks Working pattern: Full-time (or 4 days/week for the right candidate) Hybrid: 2–3 days in the office, remainder from home Framework booking: Must be charged at framework rates and processed via NHSP portal for timesheet authorisation/invoicing Location: Must be able to travel to hospital sites and surrounding areas What You'll Do: Lead and deliver the Charity’s fundraising strategy Manage donor relationships, campaigns, events, and appeals Identify and develop new income streams Manage legacy donations and in-memory giving Oversee stewardship and supporter journeys Handle bid writing, grant applications, and reporting Provide leadership to a small fundraising team Act as a positive ambassador for the Charity in the community ✅ Who We’re Looking For: Experienced fundraising professional (NHS/charity sector experience a bonus) Positive, flexible, and proactive relationship builder Confident in legacy management, donor care, and campaign delivery Skilled in project management, bid writing, and grant applications Happy to occasionally work evenings/weekends (with time off in lieu) Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across South Devon Apply now to make a real difference in a role with purpose
