Curing Operative - Full time - Permanent
£12.00/Hour
8 Hour Shift ----- Monday to Friday ------ Weekends and Bank Holidays off
At Denhay, our small and friendly team produce high-quality bacon and gammon from our modern production facility on the Heathpark Industrial Estate.
You will learn how to cure meat using traditional methods, to create our delicious bacon and gammon products.
You will be responsible for hand curing our pork, ensuring the perfect amount of cure mix is applied to every joint. You will also be loading and unloading meat by hand and cleaning down the area at the end of each day. By its nature this role is physically demanding.
Attention to detail is important and strict food safety and hygiene standards must be maintained at all times. Full training will be given.
Working hours are 5.30am – 2.00pm (Monday - Thursday) & 5.30am - 1pm (Friday), 39 hours per week
