About the role:
Support children with diverse learning needs, helping them engage with the curriculum in a tailored, nurturing environment.
Implement individualized strategies and interventions to support behaviour management, social, emotional, and academic development.
Collaborate closely with the class teacher and support team to monitor progress and adjust learning plans to meet each child’s unique needs.
Promote positive interactions and communication among students, fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Assist with daily routines and personal care, ensuring students receive comprehensive support throughout their school day, both academically and socially.
The ideal candidate must:
Have the right to work within the UK
DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
Be able to support the teacher in and around the classroom
Work with small groups of children
