Cover Supervisor - Simply Education Location: Shrewsbury and surrounding areas Position: Cover Supervisor (Primary and Special Needs Schools) Hourly Rate: £15.38 to £20 per hour January start Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for the next step in your career? Simply Education is seeking dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team as Cover Supervisor in primary and special needs schools across Shropshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, working in a classroom environment to deliver pre-planned lessons and support student learning. As a Cover Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include: Delivering pre-planned lessons to students in primary and special needs settings. Ensuring clear expectations are set and maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment. Managing classroom behaviour effectively to support learning. Marking student's work and providing constructive feedback to the class teacher. Acting as a point of contact for students, offering support where needed. The successful Cover Supervisor must be able to provide: Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a passion for working in education. A commitment to maintaining high standards of classroom management and student engagement. Flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting the teaching process.
