Job Purpose: As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation and security across all digital systems. You will play a key role in maintaining existing systems, leading IT projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing technological solutions that enhance business efficiency and supports business needs. Job Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day management and security of IT systems, networks, and servers. Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Provide technical support and training to staff across multiple departments and locations. Ensure efficient time management and prioritisation of support tickets. Monitor and ensure internal IT SLAs are met. Collaborate with the Head of IT on strategic technology projects, upgrades and deployments. Lead and participate in projects to enhance technology infrastructure and systems. Maintain security of data, backup systems and network access. Monitor IT assets. Maintain detailed documentation for all IT systems, assets, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance. Candidate Specification Good communication Ability to work as an effective team member across the organisation. Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills Technical Specification Proven experience in IT management, with a strong understanding of infrastructure and technical support. Hands-on experience with Office 365 and Microsoft Azure. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection protocols (including Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditations). Experience in managing IT projects, from planning to execution. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus. Understanding of business processes and use of technology in a multi-location environment. Essential Qualifications: MSCE CompTIA or equivalent. Desirable Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent. Occasional travel will be required between various sites covering the UK.
