Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage highway repair and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
2. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
3. Oversee site operations, project planning, and resource allocation.
4. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Monitor project progress and implement strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.
7. Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
8. Report directly to the Highways Framework Manager, ensuring all project objectives align with the framework's overall strategy.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Proven experience managing highways projects, with a strong background in concrete structures and repairs.
2. Knowledge and experience in cathodic protection systems.
3. Strong understanding of highways infrastructure and previous experience working on highway maintenance or repair projects.
4. Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
6. A proactive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
7. Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are desirable.
