Multilingual Group People Director

Location: Worcester with quarterly visits to the EMEA
Salary: Negotiable with car allowance and company discretionary annual bonus.
We are working in partnership with a Global organization who are recruiting for an experienced, strategic, leading Multilingual Group People Director.
As part of the board, provide strategic leadership to deliver the development of a people-centred culture across the group which is underpinned by a strong performance improvement mindset. This will involve working with key stakeholders on a range of initiatives, including engagement, health & wellbeing, recognition, performance management, leadership, training, and development. You will have the ability to translate key data into an effective, commercially focused HR strategy to ensure a fully integrated people strategy across the group, predominantly in the UK and Egypt, with a small number of employees in France, Germany, and the Middle East.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
1. Work as an integral board member with fellow directors/senior stakeholders and act as Champion to drive people and culture initiatives.
2. Deliver a comprehensive, proactive professional HR advice and support service on all aspects of HR and people management across all companies.
3. Act as business partner and trusted adviser to fellow directors and give counsel and oversee complex employee relation issues including not just individual cases but also structural reorganisations.
4. Lead and develop recruitment strategies, ensuring a robust and consistent selection process to attract talent through proactively sourcing the right candidates.
5. Oversee the policy and procedures of the company to ensure they are both up to date and in line with the company vision.
6. Regularly review, develop and advise on contractual terms and conditions ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
7. Ensure HR systems provide and deliver a user-friendly and engaging experience while dovetailing with the company's goals and vision.
8. Manage training and development initiatives ensuring staff have access to relevant opportunities to support their professional development.
9. Champion and drive the continuous performance development review process through a clear review system.
10. Work collaboratively with all stakeholders, role modelling and championing the company's vision and values.
11. Initiate and lead on people-related projects that support a positive culture.
12. Work with the Marcomms Manager to ensure regular communication around people information, good news stories, wellbeing, and employee benefits.
13. Lead the analysis of employee feedback and data to create a better working environment and engaged culture.
14. Coach and develop HR team members promoting an ethos of high performance.
15. Oversee payroll and administration services ensuring HMRC compliance.
Qualifications required for the Job (minimum requirement)
1. Bachelor's degree in human resources/business administration/law.
2. Qualified to MCIPD with evidence of CPD.
Experience required to do the job (minimum requirement)
1. Organisational development with strategic thinking and change management experience.
2. Strong communicator with relationship management skills and ability to engender confidence and trust.
3. Proven ability to set priorities while working under pressure.
4. Talent management, training and development, employee engagement achievements.
5. Solid UK employment law knowledge including international exposure.
6. Sound knowledge of HR best practices in performance management, employee engagement, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
7. Working knowledge of the latest data protection principles and application.
8. Practical working knowledge of payroll systems and administration (in-house).
