We are seeking an ambitious and courageous compliance manager to ensure our relaunched Netball Super League achieves its professionalisation milestones.
This role will be critical to raising the bar and upholding the expected operating standards to ensure world-class governance.
This new role is a unique opportunity to play a part in developing the systems and governance reporting frameworks that will ensure our expected operating standards are being met at every stage of the professionalisation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess Club Compliance: Lead and manage the process to ensure clubs meet the NSL Expected Operating Standards (EOS) in line with the NSL business plan and growth model.
2. Collaborate: Work with NSL Co and EN colleagues to determine requirements and gather evidence for EOS compliance.
3. Annual Audit Report: Produce and present an annual audit report on club compliance, including recommendations and development plans, to the NSL Board and key stakeholders.
4. Implement Reporting Processes: Ensure adherence to reporting requirements as outlined in the NSL Regulations Handbook, Club Participation Agreements, Pathway SLA, and other policies.
5. Salary Cap Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with NSL salary cap regulations, including tracking club payments and player salary bands.
6. Player Registration Compliance: Verify all player registrations, contracts, and eligibility aligned to the Regulations Handbook.

7. IT Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
8. Accuracy and Efficiency: High standard of accuracy and efficiency in duties.
9. Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts.
10. Sport Knowledge: Understanding of elite/professional sports and structures.
