Our client, a Local Authority based in the Southeast is seeking a locum Housing Lawyer to join their legal services team on an ongoing basis, pending permanent recruitment.
The successful Housing Lawyer will be able to undertake this position on a hybrid basis, with attendance required at the office weekly and at court, as required.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive Local Authority, working as the sole Housing Lawyer within this Legal Services team.
Responsibilities of the Housing Lawyer:
The successful Housing Lawyer will be responsible for a mixed caseload of housing matters, which may include possessions, homelessness, disrepair, ASB, and providing advice as required.
Experience required for the Housing Lawyer:
* Experience in dealing with a range of housing law matters
* Prior experience within Local Government would be desirable
