Would you like to train to be a qualified nursery practitioner? \n\nYou will undertake an apprenticeship in childcare where you will work and train in the nursery setting and gain the SVQ3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7.\n\nThe qualification will be delivered by Tinies Glasgow Training Centre (SQA accredited).\n\n The role will involve:\n-full time position in a nursery setting where you will learn and train how to deliver effective care and learning\n-full training programme learning from the nursery\n-working as part of a team\n-developing care and pedagogical skills to support each individual child's care and learning needs\n-designing and delivering learning experiences to develop each child\n-supporting the workings of a nursery\n-developing knowledge of theory and child development\n-understanding the theory and practice around Getting It Right For Every Child\n-developing your knowledge of frameworks in relation to early learning and childcare\n\nAlongside this role the successful candidate will also be supported and guided through their qualification. This will include: regular meetings with your allocated SVQ assessor, completing written work to support your accreditation and competencies in each area of your qualification and regular training opportunities to support you in your learning. \n Successful candidates will be required to offer 2 satisfactory references and undergo PVG and SSSC registration. Candidates must be enthusiastic and committed to delivering high quality childcare to all children. Candidates do not require to have any professional childcare experience however you must be able to show a passion for working with children.
