We are looking for a team member who is passionate about patient care, excited by time related targets, and able to work well within a team.
The primary function of this role is the coordination of the patients journey from GP referral to first outpatients appointment and beyond, ensuring cancer related timeframes are adhered too, and working with the operational team to reduce the overall waiting time within the Colorectal service.
Full training will be provided on successful appointment to the team, to be successful the ideal candidate will have some experience of the IT systems, skills linked with waiting list management and the ability to maintain diaries for clinicians both consultants and resident doctors.
Cross checking to ensure results are processed in good time, ensuring all clinics are fully utilised, speaking to all members of the multi disciplinary team including the patients.
