Job summary An exciting opportunity to join the Theatre education team as a Clinical Educator in Anaesthetics and Recovery is being advertised as a permanent post. The successful post holder will be responsible for the delivery of clinical education, looking after students and apprentices, liaising with the university, allocations and rostering of new starters and ongoing recruitment. There will also be opportunity to help the team with interviews and preceptorship of new employees. Main duties of the job The post holder will establish and maintain an effective clinical educational environment within Theaters that supports staff in the delivery of high quality, evidence-based care to infants, children, young people and their families. They will deliver programmes of training and education that facilitate the on-going professional development for all levels of nursing, operating department practitioners and non-registered clinical workforce. The post holder will act as a expert resource and demonstrate clinical expertise in the delivery of Theatre care. They will be expected to maintain a clinical profile and work within the clinical environment supporting and developing staff clinical service need.
