Key Responsibilities:
* Validate vehicle functions, performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance of infotainment, display, and parking systems to customer and regulatory standards.
* Create and manage test methods and procedures.
* Develop and manage test planning, including change/variance impact analysis and resource management.
* Analyze results, make judgments, and report findings to cross-functional teams and upper management.
* Investigate concerns, perform root cause analysis, and recommend countermeasures to design, aftermarket, and manufacturing departments.
* Occasionally support field investigations.
* Report and support suppliers.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
* Working knowledge of Nissan, Renault, and Mitsubishi electrical architecture.
* Understanding of electrical theory and the operation of electronic devices.
* Fluent in written and verbal English.
* Experience with software application into vehicle ECUs in a manufacturing environment, including flashing, coding/configuration, and calibration.
* Ability to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans.
* Understanding of network communications and multiple bus principles (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
* Proficiency in operating CANalyzer and CANape software or similar, and interpreting results.
* Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections.
* Practical experience in problem-solving tools and techniques.
* Familiarity with digital oscilloscopes and basic electrical test equipment.
