An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permanent Support Secretary 32hrs within the Gynaecology Unit at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to come and work in our busy team.
This role will be Supporting the Secretaries and the Gynaecology CAU with admin, so excellent typing skills are a must and knowledge of audio typing. A audio typing test will form part of the interview process, alongside a formal interview.
This particular vacancy will be supporting the Women's & Children service; knowledge of medical terminology will be beneficial however not essential. The ideal candidate will have exceptional secretarial skills and proven experience audio typing with a medical background.
You should demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, be self-motivated, able to prioritise a busy workload, work to deadlines, have a flexible approach to duties and hold a relevant secretarial / audio / word-processing qualification ideally with previous NHS /medical experience however this is not essential.
A good range of secretarial skills, including knowledge of medical terminology and audio word-processing/typing is required. The ability to organise your day, prioritise your tasks and work as part of a team are also desirable. You should be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties.
