Our client is a Consultancy who works across Critical National Infrastructure and their P3M practice is looking for Senior Planners to join their team!
You will be in a client facing role, ensuring projects and programmes are delivered on time by leading all aspects of planning.
Working Patterns: 2-3 Days on site in either Swindon, Cardiff or Bristol Locations.
The Key Responsibilities of a Senior Planner:
* Working across a broad client base within Rail, Highways and Utilities to Nuclear, Defence and Aviation, delivering the full planning lifecycle.
* Deliver the full build and management of schedules, their working interfaces and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
* Maintenance and Management of Baselines to support contractual and performance metrics.
* Provide meetings and workshops to challenge the progress and performance of projects.
* Support Project / Project Controls Managers to maintain schedules and their interfaces.
* Manage the contract requirements for the schedules.
* Provide advanced hierarchical reporting outputs such as Earned Value Management (EVM).
* Provide Integrated assessments correlating Schedule, Cost and Risk.
* Provide Critical Path evaluation and scenario planning options to mitigate issues and improve efficiencies.
Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Senior Planner, however you will not be expected to have everything:
* Experience within Critical National Infrastructure within a client facing role, ideally within Consulting.
* Experience of working across large projects with multiple workstreams.
* Contract Experience (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, Rail Frameworks).
* Advanced reporting techniques.
* An understanding of wider project controls: risk, cost management, scheduling.
