Core Responsibilities - Working in the LEGO Retail Development Team you will be developing network strategy plans, advising on the expansion and optimization of the store network with a focus on CEEMEA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) markets - Creating and maintaining data-driven network blueprints, utilizing both internal and external data sets and leveraging spatial analytics and forecasting techniques - Making portfolio recommendations that align with the business goals and regional market dynamics - Participating and driving key location planning projects with both internal and external partners - Delivering presentations and communicating across all types of stakeholders - including senior management, in-house retail development team, store operations and finance business partners - Integrating and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to produce practical and commercially relevant outputs that observe the current and future regional trends Play your part in our team succeeding We have an ambitious plan over the next three years and store expansion and optimization will be a key component of that growth. You will be responsible for supporting the growth of the LEGO Group's store network globally by creating country level network blueprints, delivering portfolio analysis, and making recommendations utilizing key location and performance data. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Location Planning, you will be part of a small and dynamic team helping to craft the store's strategy. The position will be based out of the UK and will operate as a hybrid role with 3 days based out of our London Chancery Lane offices and 2 days remote. IMPORTANT: Please note there will be no relocation budget for this position. Do you have what it takes: - You have a clear understanding of and experience utilizing Location Planning techniques - You have strong GIS skills and can leverage statistical models and analysis to make informed recommendations - Understanding of financial metrics and commercials e.g P&L and wider market dynamics / consumer trends - Work experience in a retail location planning and strategy role or experience of working in a consultancy supporting retailers - Relevant retail industry sector knowledge - CEEMEA market knowledge is preferred, but not essential - Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities - Be able to provide evidence of attention to detail, proactivity and managing deadlines - Strong Microsoft Office skills (Power Point, Excel, Word) li-ph Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
