Mortgage Partners Business Development Manager - London - 50-55k Base - 105k+ OTEWe seek a proactive and results-driven Mortgage Partners (BDM) to join a leading directly authorised broker in the mortgage services industry within central London. This client relations role's primary responsibility is to generate high-quality client referrals through the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of relationships with businesses whose clients require mortgage and/or protection advice.Key Responsibilities:Secure and transition existing relationships from the outgoing BDM to ensure continuity and growth.Ensure all volume introducers have appropriate Introducer agreements in place.Develop and implement a standardized process for handling client introductions and providing progress updates.Identify key market segments, and develop strategies to expand and grow these referral channels.Focus on encouraging wider adoption of services within existing hubs.Collaborate with the marketing team to create materials that support the growth of both new and existing relationships.Deliver year-on-year growth in referral volumes and ensure introducer relationships meet agreed commercial targets.Ensure the quality of referred clients aligns with business standards.Maintain regular meetings with key introducers to strengthen relationships and provide market updates.Support the allocation of referrals to brokers with the appropriate specialisms.Share key market insights gained from introducer relationships to inform strategy and operations.Provide regular performance updates to management.Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies:In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry and market.Proven ability to maintain and strengthen existing relationships.Expertise in identifying and onboarding new referral-generating relationships.Strong understanding of the Wealth Management and Estate Agency sectors.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility.Strong organization and time management skills, able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.High level of integrity and professionalism.IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.What We Offer:A competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, with a bonus structure offering up to £50,000 per year based on performance.Flexible working arrangements, with office-based collaboration for key meetings.
