Job summary St Mary Street Surgery is a medium sized practice located in Thornbury. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our friendly administration team who look after the practice's 'behind the scenes' endeavours. We have 30 hours available to be worked everyday preferably but we would also consider other working patterns including 4 days or a job share. The successful candidate will be organised, dynamic and able to work under their own initiative as well as be a team player. Main duties of the job Our administrative team is pivotal to our service. The work undertaken by the administrative team underpins all functions of the practice. You will need to have good organisational and communication skills to ensure the smooth running of the practices administrative duties which are vast. About us We are a friendly, social bunch and fair well in the annual GP Patient Survey. We are a GP training practice with 3 of our 4 Partners registered as trainers; we commonly have at least one learner with us at any given time. In addition, we are supported by 3 part time salaried GPs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, a highly successful nursing team and a dedicated and supportive administrative and reception team.
