Safe Haven is a two-year pilot delivered in partnership with North East Counselling Service as part of the Long-Term Plan Community Mental Health Transformation Alternative to Crisis agenda.
Safe Haven supports people who are experiencing mental health crisis or distress and provides a de-escalation space.
What you'll be doing
We are looking for a Security and Welfare Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of our staff, clients, and visitors and provide protection and care for the building.
We are looking for someone with experience working in a similar role and you must hold a Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence with at least 4 months remaining before expiry.
The Security and Welfare Coordinator will be required to work flexibly Monday to Sunday, 18-24 hours per week (5pm-11pm) and is fixed term for 12 months. This may be extended subject to funding.
