My client, a well-established, small but very busy subcontract engineering company based in the Braintree area, are now looking for a CNC Miller to Program, Set and Operate Hurco Mills. The company do a variety work for different industry sectors including Aerospace, Motorsport, Medical, Commercial and Oil & Gas industries. The ideal candidate will be time served and would preferably have some turning knowledge.
Duties:
Programming, Setting and operation of Hurco milling machines.
Program on and offline using OneCNC software.
Set up and run machines.
Ability to work to very fine tolerances.
Attention to detail.
Work closely with the turning section to ensure efficiency.
The ideal candidate would be willing to help out on lathes when work load is high.
Experience:
Extensive experience Programming, Setting and Operating experience is essential (Hurco Preferable)
Offline programming experience preferred (OneCNC Software preferable)
Ideally apprentice trained however experience is more important.
Must be capable and prepared to lean Hurco and OneCNC
Benefits:
Salary (Dependant on experience).
40 hours per week Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays.
Paid overtime available.
Free onsite parking.
20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
