Our client, a top 50 law firm, are seeking a skilled and dedicated Employment Solicitor to join our clients renowned team as an Associate or Senior Associate, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients on a wide range of employment law matters. Requirements Legal Advisory Services: Provide expert legal advice on various employment law issues, including but not limited to, contracts, policies, disciplinary matters, grievances, and employment tribunal claims. Stay abreast of changes in employment legislation and ensure clients are informed of the impact on their business. Client Management: Manage and build strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored legal solutions. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings, ensuring their interests are protected. Case Management: Manage a varied caseload of employment matters, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met. Draft legal documents, including contracts, settlement agreements, and other employment-related documentation. Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the Employment Law department through proactive business development activities. Participate in marketing initiatives, seminars, and client events to raise the profile of the firm's employment law services. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Employment Law team and across other departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients. Qualifications: Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in employment law. Proven experience handling a variety of employment law cases, including tribunal claims. Strong understanding of current employment legislation and case law. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Business development and marketing experience is highly desirable.
