Job Title: SEMH School Support Worker - Bodmin
Location: Bodmin
Salary: £83.33 per day (based on a 6.5 hour day with unpaid break)
Start Date: Immediately - Duration: Full Time, Long Term

This role is based within a school and ideally transitioning into a Teaching Assistant position. Hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Guide students in their educational journey as an SEN support worker.
* Employ diverse methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and caregivers to create effective support plans.
* Cultivate a supportive environment to boost social and communication abilities.
* Introduce regular interventions and activities to enhance academic advancement and performance.
Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK.
* An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* A DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection or willingness to take a course on safeguarding.
