We're seeking a Lead Business Performance Analyst to join our Projects and MI team within the Shared Service Centre. This role will involve interpreting requirements for new builds and updates, streamlining operational processes, and providing complex data analysis.
We're BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm providing advice and solutions to entrepreneurial organisations. Our Shared Service Centre team provides essential support to various teams across the firm, assisting with large-scale operations and providing expertise to keep us moving forward.
As a Lead Business Performance Analyst, you'll be responsible for:
* Interpreting requirements for new builds and updates for existing reporting/analysis
* Streamlining operational processes and improving controls
* Operations reporting – time entry, utilisation, internal volumetric and KPI/SLA reporting
* Completing complex ad hoc data analysis requests for clients
* Identifying data issues and proactively seeking appropriate resolutions
* Day-to-day operational support
* Undertaking root cause analysis
* Creating regular reports based on client requirements
* Supporting the Operational teams with relevant data and expert analysis
* Producing and analysing large monthly MI data sets for multiple clients
* Awareness of latest trends/technology advancements
* Promoting the use of consistent definitions across the business
Key skills and experience required:
* Creative approach to analytical challenges
* Demonstrable ability to take a lead role within a small team and effectively manage internal relationships
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Experience of IT systems including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
* Experience working on interactive data visualisation software required
* MS Power BI developer preferred
* A team player who is willing to ask questions to ensure tasks are completed effectively
* Able to quickly build positive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
